  • Vietnamese visa for Japanese

Hi, I am Japanese and want to move to Vietnam to visit my boyfriend who is Australian and working there. Do you know what visa options I have? Thank you, Sachiyo

  • Dear Sachiyo,

    Thank you for contacting us

Be kindly informed that Japanese passport holders are allowed to enter and stay Vietnam for less than 15 days without a visa. Thus, no visa is required if you stay in the country less than 15 days. Otherwise, if you will stay longer, you must apply for your visa to Vietnam in advance.

In case you need a visa and travel to Vietnam by air, visa on arrival is avalable. For more information, please see http://vietnamvisaexpress.com/processing-time.

    Kind regards,
