1. Who need Vietnam visa?
Only citizens of certain countries can visit Vietnam without an entry visa. All other citizens are required to get an entry visa before departure or a pre-approved entry visa (visa is issued on arrival at Vietnam's International Airports) supplied before arrival in Vietnam. 2. How many kinds of visa are there? What kind of visa do I need?
There are two ways of classification. First, in terms of traveling purpose, there are four kinds of Vietnam entry visa: Tourist Visa, Business Visa, Visa extension and Re-entry Visa. The other way is to classify upon the method to get the visa, according to which, there are two kinds: 'Visa on Arrival' and 'normal Entry Visa'.
3. How to apply for a visa to Vietnam?
You can either apply yourself by submitting the form to the Vietnamese embassy/consulate in your country or have a local travel agent (your sponsor) do a part or full of its procedure for you. Click www.vietnamvisaexpress.com for more information
4. Where can I get Vietnam visa?
Getting visa to Vietnam is quite simple and easy now. There are 2 options for getting Vietnam visa:
- Getting Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassy before coming to Vietnam. You can contact Vietnam embassy directly for applying Vietnam visa, or get your visa stamped at embassy with pre-approved letter with code (Vietnam visa code) to pick up Vietnam visa at embassy from Vietnam Immigration Department.
- Getting Vietnam visa on arriving in Vietnam (pick up Vietnam visa at the check-in point). This is a more simple and easy way than the other, but not many people have heard of it. You can ask any travel agent in Vietnam or refer to us by clicking Send visa form then we will arrange your pre-approved letter (Vietnam visa on arrival) for you to pick up your Vietnam visa upon arrival.
5. What is "Visa on arrival"?
It is one of the two kinds of Visa, which is stamped onto your passport on your arrival at any of Vietnam's international Airports. This is the quickest and cheapest way to get your visa to Vietnam. You have just to fill in our "Online Application Form", pay the service fee, get your "Visa approval letter" within 2 working days and pick up your Visa at your destination airports (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and/or Danang)
6. How can I get "Vietnam visa on arrival"?

8. What if my passport expired?
To apply for a visa to Vietnam, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Therefore, please extend your passport before applying for a visa.
9. What information is needed for processing my visa?
1. Your full name (exactly as in your passport)
2. Gender
3. Date of birth (DOB)
4. Nationality
5. Passport Number
6. Visa type (1/3/6 months single/multiple)
7. Proposed arrival date
10. Can I use this approval letter for entering Vietnam by land?
No, this type of visa is applicable to air travel only. Three international airports in Vietnam that you can get your stamp with this approval letter are: Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) and Danang Airport.
11. What is Vietnam visa approval code?
Visa Approval Code is the code to be given to Vietnam visa applicants for them to base on it to get the Vietnam visa stamped onto their passport at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in their country. This means those applicants will get their visa before travelling to Vietnam. This is mostly used by those who travel by other ways (rather than by air) to Vietnam.
12. What is the difference between single entry visa and multiple entry visa?
In normal cases, you just use single-entry visa. In case you would like to enter Cambodia, Laos or any other country from Vietnam and then re-enter Vietnam without having to apply for another visa, or you intend to have more than a month in Vietnam with tourist visa, you need a multiple-entry (or re-entry) visa.
13. What should I do to get a multiple-entry visa to Vietnam?
This is quite simple: All Vietnam visas are single entry - unless you have specifically requested multiple entry and this is stamped into the passport. The status of a tourist visa cannot be changed from single entry to multiple entry once you have arrived in Vietnam. 14. How do I check my Vietnam visa approval letter/code processing status?
Please insert your Order ID into the "Check visa Status" part on our site, you will see your Vietnam visa processing status. - "Under payment": means that your application has finished, however your payment has not yet completed. - "Processing": Your visa application is being processed. - "Finished": Your visa application has been processed successfully and the visa approval letter has been sent to you. - "Not accepted": Your visa application is not approved by the Vietnam Immigration Department.
15. How do I receive my visa approval letter/code?
Please check your visa status after 2 business days (normal service), or 1 business day (urgent service) from they payment confirmation. When your visa status is "Finished", you will find an attached file next to the visa status; just download it (taking some minutes) to your computer. This is very simple and easy to follow!
16. What is service fee? (Vietnam visa on arrival)
Visa Service fee is the fee paid online to us by you before traveling with a view to getting your Visa Approval Letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department. The prerequisite is that our company guarantees for you at the Immigration Dept., and accordingly, your visa is automatically sent from the Dept. to your arrival airport's Immigration controlling network.
17. What is stamping Fee? (Vietnam visa on arrival)
Visa stamping fee is the fee that must be paid directly by you to the Immigration at your arrival airport. This fee is charged for the Immigration to get your visa itself printed out, glued (or stamped) onto your passport and sealed, after double checking your visa approval letter. The visa is stamped onto your passport only if all the information in your approval letter is exactly as in your passport.
18. Can I get Vietnam visa within the same day ?
